Jan Christen (UAE Team Emirates) wins the second stage of the Volta ao Algarve (2.Pro) from Lagoa to Alto da Foia (177.6km).

On the Alto da Foia Christen , Powless , De Plus and Vergallito take the lead. From behind, Vingegaard 's attack threatens to bring the best back to the leading group and, then, Christen attacks with 900 meters to go and arrives together with his teammate Almeida , author of a great comeback in the final.

In third place is De Plus, while Vingegaard 6th and Roglic 9th, they appeared not very brilliant in the final. Excellent 7th place for Vergallito.
