Great work by Covi and A.Yates for the Mexican

Isaac Del Toro (UAE Team Emirates) wins the 174km Milan-Turin (1.Pro).

Masuda, Bais, Baldaccini, Rutsch and Sbaragli try to escape from the first stages of the race. Along the first climb of Colle di Superga, UAE Team Emirates imposes a strong pace and selects the group a lot.

At the beginning of the final climb, Rutsch is caught, the last of the attackers to give up. With 3km to go, after the great work of Covi , A.Yates takes the lead and breaks up the small group of the best: only 6 remain at the head of the race.

With just over a kilometre to go, Del Toro attempts an attack: only Johannessen and Tulett resist; the Milan-Turin is played out between the three of them, with Del Toro restarting 100 metres from the finish and clearly winning ahead of Tulett and Johannessen .
