Edoardo Affini won the gold medal in the time trial at the European Road Cycling Championships.

In Hasselt, Belgium, Affini completed the 31.3 km of the course with a time of 35'15" at an average speed of 53.265 km/h. Silver medal for Stefan Kung, 9 seconds behind, bronze for Mattia Cattaneo, third at 19 seconds.
