We knew immediately that it was going to be a day to remember. The terrible weather on 3 October 2021 made Paris-Roubaix an even more iconic and heroic race. A strip of legend in which Sonny Colbrelli wrote the most beautiful story; after a grueling journey, sailing on mud and stones, in a continuous slalom with the flags of luck. A path that did not smile at the good Moscon , another blue who cherished the dream for a long time, but was unable to crown it after an attack as a true champion.   It was not his day, the stones of Roubaix , harsh and credulous, had other plans, or simply had fun, as always, playing with the destinies of the heroes in the manner of the Greek gods.

That day the hero was and had to be Sonny Colbrelli , who like a modern Heracles overcame all his labors and triumphed. Covered with mud and tears, rolling with happiness on the lawn of the Roubaix velodrome, there, where it all ends. Unforgettable moments that are sublimed in a cry of pure joy: "This morning at the departure, I jokingly said that I would stay on the bus or that I would soon get into the flagship - said Colbrelli after the arrival - It's true that I like it. running in the cold and I'm not afraid of rain, but today it was different, it was easy to fall because the roads were full of water, there was a lot of mud and in some moments it was difficult to balance.   I was on the edge but I did it. I have always tried to stay ahead in the cobblestones. Yes, it is one of my dreams coming true. The first is Flanders, the second is Roubaix ".

A dream that today we want to remember as a good omen, so that Sonny can always find this happiness along his path. We take this opportunity to wish him a big good luck, with the hope of seeing him back in the saddle, to make all cycling and Fantacycling fans rejoice.
