Dorian Godon won the fifth and final stage of the Tour de Romandie, with a 150km start and finish in Vernier. All escape attempts were blocked: the decisive inspiration came from Godon who thus achieved the second stage success in the Swiss race, ahead of Simone Consonni.

Carlos Rodriguez (Ineos Grenadiers) retained the overall leader's jersey, thus imposing himself on the top step of the final podium. The podium was completed by Aleksandr Vlasov and Florian Lipowitz, both from Bora hansgrohe.
