The Belgian beats De Kleijn and Kooij in the sprint

Tim Merlier wins the fourth stage of the UAE Tour from Dubai Police Officer's Club to Dubai Harbor (168km).

The two-man breakaway formed by Stewart (who consolidates the green jersey) and Vanhoucke is the only noteworthy event, before the final sprint, of a totally flat stage dedicated to the fast wheels.

The final straight is taken in the lead by the Alpecin men, but the first to start is Olav Kooij; Tim Merlier manages to recover in the last hundred meters and achieves his second success in this race, ahead of De Kleijn and Kooij .

Jay Vine keeps the red jersey. Tomorrow another flat stage with a probable sprint finish.
