Solo arrival at Jebel Mobrah, now he is the new leader

Antonio Tiberi won the third stage of the UAE Tour, 183 km from Umm al-Quwain to Jebel Mobrah. The day's breakaway, featuring the Alpecin duo Jonas Rickaert and Sylvain Dillier, was caught at the foot of the final climb, a first for the Emirati race, with a second section featuring very challenging gradients.

Felix Gall was the first to set off, while Isaac Del Toro gained ground and Remco Evenepoel struggled. Behind the Austrian Decathlon rider, Tiberi returned to the lead, leaving him alone. Del Toro attacked with Lennert Van Eetvelt, trying to catch Gall, Harold Tejada, and Lucas Plapp. Del Toro tried everything to get back on Tiberi, but was unable to do so.

The Bahrain Victorious rider wins the stage and is the new leader of the general classification. Del Toro finishes second, 15 seconds behind, followed by Van Eetvelt. Evenepoel takes over two minutes.
