Vendrame at Fantacycling: "Sanremo and Giro in the sights"

Guest in the Fantacycling live show, Andrea Vendrame recounted his start to the season: "I'm happy with the fifth place in the Valencian Community on Sunday - he explained - a result that gives me morale. 2023 will have to be the year of change. I changed my trainer after nine years, until last year I worked more on regularity while now I focus more on explosiveness to be ready already in the first week of a stage race".

We are obviously talking about the Giro d'Italia, his great goal of the season: “Even if I would like to have the first peak of form at Sanremo . Then there will be a moment of recovery, before the pink race I'll be at the Tour of the Alps". In a few days, however, he will be at the start of the Tour of Oman.

Between curious and funny anecdotes about his former roommate Lilian Calmejane and his teammate Clement Venturini, Vendrame also talked about some interesting riders from his team, Ag2R and his victory in Tro Bro Leon 2019 , the most original of the cycling calendar.
