A trivial fall at -35 in the eighth stage

Tadej Pogacar has withdrawn from the Vuelta: a minor crash on a flat stretch with 35km to go forced the red jersey to retire.
The world champion swerved to the left of the group, for reasons yet to be clarified, and violently hit his shoulder, elbow and face on the ground.
Pogacar tried to get back on the bike almost immediately, but the pain was too much to continue.
At the end of this stage, Enric Mas will wear the red jersey as leader of the general classification.
