Lidl Trek's Dane to Skip Classics

Lidl Trek announces that Søren Kragh Andersen recently underwent successful surgery to remove a benign pseudotumor in the scrotal region.

Although he is currently unable to train on the bike due to the location of the surgery, the Danish runner has started swimming, running and training while waiting to get back on the bike.

Kragh Andersen will most likely skip the Northern Classics with his return scheduled for April, just in time for the Ardennes races.

“It’s a huge disappointment not to be able to join the team for this important first part of the season, but the priority was to resolve the medical issue,” said Kragh Andersen. “There’s a lot of work to do to prepare for my Lidl-Trek debut, but I’m fully motivated to get back to my best form and support the team for the rest of the season.”
