Brandon McNulty won the 2026 edition of the Veneto Classic, starting in Cittadella and finishing in Bassano del Grappa, 157.6 km.
The battle for the final stage of the Italian Regions' Cup opened early with several attacking attempts. The first successful move was made by UAE Emirates, which led a small group of 20 riders including McNulty, Cosnefroy, Sivakov, and Baroncini. The world champion managed to make the difference, along with Charmig, another favorite of the day. The two worked together to gain a lead of about a minute over the other breakaway riders, with Berthet, Hermans, and Scaroni very active.
On the dirt climb called Diesel Farm, Mcnulty drops Charmig and reaches the finish line alone, closing his 2026 with a bang. The day's podium is completed by Charmig and Sivakov.
Also in the top 10 are Berthet, Hirschi, Scaroni, Hermans, Camprubì, Ulissi and Cosnefroy.
