The last image of Rigoberto Uran 's cycling career was an unfortunate fall at the last Vuelta , resulting in a broken hip.

The Colombian, however, faces everything with a smile, even his post-career, revealing unthinkable projects. In an interview with El Colombiano , Uran stated that his next goal is to become a professional footballer , saying that it is his unrealized dream.  

"I will dedicate myself to professional football, it's an unrealized dream and I will try to see what happens - said Uran - I have nothing to lose and you know that I'm out of racing now, but I like to try new things".

Uran was also the subject of a TV series titled Rigo , which received an Emmy Award nomination in the Telenovela category.
