Surprise in the third stage, British leader of the general classification
Ethan Hayter returns to winning ways and does so by beating Filippo Ganna. It happened today in the third stage of the Belgium Tour, a 9.7 km individual time trial with finish in Ham.
The British rider from Soudal Quick Step finished in 10'29" preceding Ganna by four seconds and Florian Vermeersch by 16 seconds. Filippo Baroncini was fourth.
In the general classification Hayter precedes Ganna by only 2 seconds. And tomorrow is the penultimate stage, the most difficult, with start and finish in Durbuy.
