Pogacar the star, waiting for Roglic and Lipowitz

In the heart of the European spring, the 2026 Tour de Romandie returns for just under a week. It's an elegant yet challenging race, where the Swiss landscape intertwines with the riders' efforts, offering different scenery and new challenges every day. The 2026 Tour de Romandie route unfolds like a story in six chapters: a short prologue and five stages that traverse the French-speaking region of Switzerland.

We start with a short and intense prologue to award the first leader's jersey.

The following days unfold amid rolling hills and constant changes in pace. These aren't pure mountain stages, but the terrain offers no respite: short climbs, fast descents, and windy sections force the group to remain constantly vigilant.

Then comes the real mountain. The roads begin to climb steeply, the forests thin out, and the landscape opens up onto spectacular valleys. Arriving at Charmey represents one of the most challenging moments, with the three crossings of the Jaun Pass.

The final stage to Leysin is a fitting finale to a great race: a long, challenging climb that can change everything.

The most anticipated name is Tadej Pogačar , a rider capable of turning every race into a spectacle. The world champion should have no problem winning the Swiss race as well. But the Fantacycling lineup is still being finalized. With whom?

Red Bull Bora hansgrohe is fielding Primož Roglič , Florian Lipowitz, and Daniel Martinez. The goal is to try and invent something in the crucial moments.

Among the young riders, Lenny Martinez stands out, light and brilliant on the climbs and on the podium last year, Oscar Onley and Carlos Rodriguez for Ineos, riders who still have to find the right feeling this season, and a couple of gambles like Jorgen Nordhagen of Visma and Valentin Paret Peintre of Soudal Quick Step.

We expect signs from Antonio Tiberi, who hasn't shone since the UAE Tour, Lorenzo Fortunato and, for the breakaways, Marco Frigo.
