Jonathan Milan (Lidl-Trek) wins the fifth stage of the UAE Tour, from Dubai Al Mamzar Park to Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University (168km).

In the first part of the stage, a three-man breakaway broke out, with Dillier, Zukowsky and Moscon taking the lead.
The stage, completely flat, offered no thrills, with the group catching up with the attackers 3 km from the finish.

XDS Astana enters the final kilometre in the lead, but Milan , despite being without teammates, comes out at the right time and wins ahead of Blikra and Malucelli .
5th Skerl, 10th Parisini.

The overall standings remain unchanged, with Tiberi in the lead; tomorrow he finishes on Jebel Hafeet.
