Solo victory; Gregoire and Tiberi on the podium

Santiago Buitrago (Bahrain Victorius) wins the Trofeo Laigueglia, a 192km ProSeries race.

The race heats up on the first pass at Colla Micheri, with Buitrago , Tiberi , Hermans and Gregoire making an attack who take over from Vervaeke , the last member of the morning's breakaway, in the lead.

Hermans breaks away from the three men in the lead who are playing for the race on the final Colla Micheri mountain pass, with the two Bahrainis trying to make a move to undermine Gregoire: it is Buitrago who makes the decisive move, with the Colombian flying down the descent and on Capo Mele alone and thus managing to win the Laigueglia Trophy.
Gregoire beats Tiberi in the sprint for second place.
