Surprisingly, the German precedes the big favourites

Marius Mayrhofer of Team DSM wins the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race. The young German (born in 2000) precedes Hugo Page (one of the fittest men of the moment) and Simon Clarke in the sprint .

Fourth place for the number one favorite Michael Matthews ahead of Corbin Strong and another expected great as Caleb Ewan . Eighth place for a recovering Marc Hirschi ( UAE Team Emirates ), while the first of the Italians is Antonio Tiberi ( Trek Segafredo ) sixteenth, who confirms the excellent condition shown a few days ago at the Tour DownUnder.

Fantastic one-two after a few hours for Team DSM after Sam Welsford 's victory in the sixth stage of the Vuelta San Juan ; a team that can give Fantacycling surprises, provided that the protagonist riders are chosen well.
