Group sprint finish; Jeanniere 2nd, Kooij 3rd

Arnaud De Lie (Lotto) wins the Bretagne Classic Ouest France, 260 km, starting and finishing in Plouay.

The race, as usual, was a series of bursts and counter-bursts: after the first attempts of the day were neutralized, Madouas made a decisive start at the key moment of the race, with 15 km to go.

The Frenchman is followed and caught by McNulty , Van Gils , and Barrè . The four build up a significant lead, but they stop swapping riders in the final 2 km and are caught by the peloton.

Kooij tries to get ahead of the sprint with a compact group, but gets his timing wrong and is passed by De Lie . Jeanniere is 2nd, Kooij 3rd.
