Decathlon, Lapeira renews until 2027

Paul Lapeira renews with Team Decathlon AG2R La Mondiale until 2027. The Frenchman won the national title and four races in 2024 and is a candidate to be one of the most interesting elements of the team. At Fantacycling he has a starting price of 6 fantamillions ; a bet that can be attempted: “It is a renewal that happened naturally, without leaving room for doubt – said Lapeira – I went through all the procedures within the team structure and, given the great progress made, I was motivated to continue on this path. I am happy to extend my contract for another two years, until 2027, thus bringing the total years spent with the team to six when the contract expires. I believe I am in the right place to continue to grow in the next three years and bring the team the best possible results. I have faith in the future of the team and the vision of the project until 2028 reassures me”.
