Is the story between Caleb Ewan and Team Jayco AlUla over? The rider's name no longer appears on the team's official website, which, among other things, did not select the Australian sprinter for the Tour Down Under .

Ewan hasn't raced since last September and will not compete in this Sunday's Australian Nationals. The sprinter also missed the team's December training camp.

Team Jayco AlUla , contact of journalist Daniel Benson, did not want to comment and Ewan himself did not release any statements. At this point, a change of team during the season is likely for the rider (in recent months he had been linked to Astana whose roster for 2025 is however complete). The most sensational epilogue, however, would be the early end of the career of Ewan , a rider capable of winning five stages in his career at the Tour de France and as many at the Giro d'Italia .
