CRO Race, Stage 2: Bévort surprises everyone with his first pro victory in a sprint finish.

The second stage of the CRO Race delivered another sprint finish, this time featuring a surprising name, one that already deserves a place of honor in future race notes: Carl-Frederik Bévort . The Uno-X Mobility rider demonstrated the legs and mind of a true sprinter, burning away the field at the finish line in Novalja.

Born in 2003, the twenty-two-year-old Dane took the opportunity to claim his first professional victory, narrowly edging out Nicolas Gojković , rider of Pogi Team Gusto Ljubljana, while Juan Sebastián Molano (UAE Team Emirates-XRG), fresh from winning the opening stage and already making an excellent start to the race, completed the podium.

Also noteworthy were the strong performances of Lorenzo De Longhi (Cofidis), who finished fourth, and Davide Donati (Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe), who finished fifth: both Italians seeking confirmation, they could represent the future of the Italian sprints.

Molano, for his part, confirms his stellar form with this third-place finish. After his stage 1 victory, the Colombian from UAE Team Emirates-XRG demonstrates he can fight for the top positions even when he fails to complete the double, keeping his sights firmly on the points classification and the CRO Race polka-dot jersey.
