Magnus Sheffield wins the Brabant Arrow 2022 . The rider of Team Ineos , at 19 years and 359 days of age, he is the first American to conquer the race A race characterized by the attack of 10 runners: Evenepoel (Quick Step), Barguil (Arkea Samsic) and Cosnefroy (AG2R Citroen), Pidcock, Turner and Sheffield (Ineos Grenadiers), Wellens and Campenaerts (Lotto Soudal), Robert Stannard (Alpecin Fenix) and Dylan Teuns (Bahrain Victorious) .

Teuns himself is put out of action by a puncture, while 37 km from the finish line Evenepoel loses contact, but then manages to return.  

At the end of the race Campenaerts and Stannard also detach themselves, leaving seven, in front, to fight for the victory one lap from the conclusion.  

Right on the last passage to the finish line there is a fall in the main group: Julian Alaphilippe remains involved and initially remains on the ground touching his shoulder, then starts again without apparent consequences.

Three kilometers from the finish Sheffield leaves, also counting on the numerical superiority of the Ineos. Nobody follows the young American who reaches the finish line alone.  

Cosnefroy wins the sprint of the pursuers (still a second place for the Frenchman after the Amstel Gold Race), while Wellens is third.
