The Dutchman wins over Bauhaus and Meeus

The breakaway of the day ended eight kilometers from the finish: the last of the attackers to be joined by the group was the Polish Kamil Malecki of Lotto Soudal.

Bad crash one kilometer from the finish with many riders involved: all of them then managed to cross the finish line with the gaps cleared, the physical consequences still remain to be assessed in view of the next stages.
