Garofoli defeated in the sprint, Garibbo remains leader
Davide Donati won the second stage of the Giro di Sardegna, 136 km from Oristano to Carbonia.
The 20-year-old Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe Rookies rider, who won the third stage of the Ethias-Tour de Wallonie last year, outsprinted Gianmarco Garofoli (Soudal Quick-Step) and Patrick Boje Frydkjær (Lidl - Trek Future Racing).
In the general classification, Nicolò Garibbo (Team UKYO) maintains the lead with a 4" advantage over Garofoli, second, while Zana drops to third place.
