Demi Vollering wins the first stage of the women's Tour of Switzerland, just 58.6 km, with start and finish in Villar sur Ollon.

The final climb, the same one that the men will face today in the seventh stage, is approached by Chabbey with a 2'30" advantage over the main group.

The Swiss's action ends 2 km from the finish line with Realini and Vollering managing to catch up. In the last kilometre, the Dutchman breaks away from the Italian and reaches the finish line alone. Behind Realini, Chabbey held out on the day's podium, while Longo Borghini finished fourth, almost a minute behind.
