Mathieu Van der Poel wins the second stage of the Tour de Suisse . Impressive progression in the final race by the Dutch cyclist who left no way out for Maximilian Schachmann , second, and Wout Poels , who came in third position.

Fourth place for Marc Hirsch i who preceded Carapaz , Woods , Alaphilippe and Fuglsang . The Danish Lotto Soudal Andreas Kron and Benoit Consefroy close the top ten.  

The Swiss Stefan Kung is still the leader of the general classification, but now he is only 1 ”ahead of Julian Alaphilippe .
