Carlos Verona wins the fifteenth stage of the Giro d'Italia from Fiume Veneto to Asiago of 219 km. The Spanish rider of Lidl Trek arrives alone at the finish line after being the protagonist of the breakaway of the day.

Behind him is Stork who precedes Scaroni and Bardet . The pink jersey group arrives about 30” from the winner with Isaac Del Toro increasingly in the pink jersey.

The Mexican closed down all the attacks in person, in particular on Bernal, first on Monte Grappa and then on Dori .

A negative day, however, for Primoz Roglic who loses ground on the climbs and, thanks to the great work of his Red Bull Bora teammate Giulio Pellizzari , arrives 1'30” behind the pink jersey group, and at this point his Giro d'Italia becomes much more complicated.
