Lennard Kamna wins the fourth stage of the Giro d'Italia with arrival on Etna . The German of Bora Hansgrohe , protagonist of the breakaway of the day, precedes the Spanish of Trek Segafredo , Juan Pedro Lopez , who becomes the new pink jersey.

An expected stage, but which causes more confusion than expected even in terms of the general classification. Miguel Angel Lopez , one of the favorites for the final victory, retires after a few kilometers due to a physical discomfort in his thigh. The attackers also have an advantage of 10 ', while at the beginning of the climb the minutes are reduced to 6'. The pink Van der Poel jersey detaches almost immediately as you move up your pace, while Juan Pedro Lopez and Lennard Kamna remain alone in the lead.

In the group of the best, on the other hand, Team Ineos sets the pace and first Tom Dumoulin and then Vincenzo Nibali come off.  

In the final sprint there is no story, with Kamna taking the last corner better and preceding Juan Pedro Lopez, who, however, can smile for the pink jersey.
