Play the special league dedicated to the pink race

Friday 9 May 2025 is the big day: the 108th edition of the Giro d'Italia will start.

We start from abroad for the 15th time, the first from Albania where the first three stages will be held including a 13.7 km individual time trial. We return to Italy, for the first rest day dedicated to the transfer, and we start again from Alberobello towards Lecce for an almost certain sprint.

In the first week, watch out for the tricky arrival in Matera, the longest stage of the Giro with arrival in Naples, and the first uphill finish in Tagliacozzo. It closes with a small 'Strade Bianche' and the arrival in Siena.

After the second rest day comes the second time trial from Lucca to Pisa for 28.6 km, then the uphill finish in Castelnovo ne Monti. Three possible sprints precede the Asiago stage with, in the middle, Monte Grappa.

Finally, after the last rest, the third and decisive week. The tough uphill finish on San Valentino precedes the Bormio stage with Tonale, Mortirolo and Le Motte. Finally, a challenging stage in the Aosta Valley with finish in Champoluc and five climbs, and the twentieth stage that arrives in Sestriere passing through the dirt road of Colle delle Finestre.

The grand finale will be in Rome.

The 2025 Giro features 52,500 meters of total elevation gain, six high mountain stages (Sestriere, Castelnovo, Asiago, San Pellegrino, Bormio and Champoluc), six stages dedicated to sprinters – fighting for the cyclamen jersey – and a whopping 42.3 kilometers of time trials.
