After a long, long wait, the route of the Giro d'Italia 2025 has finally been presented. The start from Albania is confirmed, with three stages: a move to open the dance, a 13.7 km individual time trial and a final one that could be interesting already in terms of the general classification.
The pink caravan will then move to Puglia and then go up the peninsula passing through Matera and Naples (stage finishes) before moving on to Abruzzo with the first uphill finish in Tagliacozzo .
After a quick passage in Umbria, the stages in Tuscany will be very interesting, with the dirt roads of Siena and a second time trial from Lucca to Pisa.
The big mountains will arrive only from the 15th stage with Monte Grappa , then Santa Barbara in the 16th and Tonale and Mortirolo in the 17th. Finally, the decisive stage with the arrival in Champoluc in Valle d'Aosta and the penultimate one with Colle delle Finestre before the finish line in Sestriere.
The twenty-first and final stage is confirmed to be the catwalk in Rome .
