It's all for Tadej Pogačar , but that certainly wasn't a mystery. UAE Team Emirates has officially announced its squad for Sunday's Paris-Roubaix , with the men ready to work hard for the world champion.

The main reference will be Florian Vermeersch who is demonstrating excellent condition at the start of this season and is a specialist on cobblestones: in 2021 the Belgian (wearing the Lotto Soudal jersey) came second in Roubaix behind Sonny Colbrelli and ahead of Mathieu Van der Poel .  

Then there will be a powerful and experienced rider like Nils Politt , also an expert on the cobbles: in Roubaix he boasts a second place in 2019 and a fourth in 2024. Completing the team will be Mikkel Berg , Sebastián Molano, António Morgado and Rui Oliveira , who will probably have to give their contribution in the initial parts of the race.

"It's no secret that Paris-Roubaix is ​​one of the big goals at this time of year," commented Tadej Pogacar . "The few races I've done so far have gone perfectly, so my motivation is high, but the pressure is low. I'll enjoy the race regardless of the result, and I can't wait for this great racing weekend. We have a very strong team, with riders who have been on the podium in the past, so I'm not the only one capable of achieving results."

With a win at Paris-Roubaix, Pogacar would complete his career victories in all five Monuments and could pursue the sensational goal of winning all the Monuments in the same year; something never achieved by anyone in the history of cycling.
