Sakarias Koller Løland wins the Veneto Classic, a 180.5 km ProSeries race.

With just 150 km to go, an interesting 19-man breakaway , featuring many teams, formed. From behind, the main group began to move at 40 km, but the gap of over 2 minutes made the chase difficult.

On the final climb up the Tisa, Veermersch attacked in front with Meurisse , Ulissi , De Pretto , and Loland , while Wellens attacked from behind, but his action was too late. On the following flat stretch, Germani, Teuns, and Dversnes also returned.

On Diesel Farm, De Pretto pulls away with a great leg, followed by Ulissi, but both have problems with the dirt and are caught by Germani, Loland and Veermersch, while Meurisse punctures.

On the rough road, Germani takes the lead and manages to open up a gap. But with 2 km to go, Veermersch and Loland come back.

Loland launches the sprint and outwits Vermeersch and Ulissi , who himself came back in the final kilometre.
