Paul Seixas wins the Flèche Wallonne , in his first participation and becomes the youngest winner ever.

The race was decided, as always, on the Mur de Huy, with Seixas taking the lead from the first ramps of the Mur. On the steepest slopes, the Frenchman dropped a trio behind him, with Tulett, Consefroy, and Schmid losing a few meters.

Seixas triumphs clearly, finishing 3 seconds ahead of Schmid and Tulett who complete the podium.
