The young Frenchman arrives all alone at the finish line

Paul Seixas won the Faun Ardèche Classic race in Guilherand-Granges today, taking his second professional victory at the age of 19, a week after winning stage two of the Tour of the Algarve.

On the roads where he took third place at the European Championships last October, the great hope of the Decathlon CMA-CGM attacked with more than 40 km to go and remained alone.

At the finish line, Seixas was almost two minutes ahead of Jan Christen, Lenny Martinez and Matteo Jorgenson, who finished second, third and fourth respectively on the day.

Davide Piganzoli finished in sixth place.
