The Visma champion also wins the final stage

Pauline Ferrand-Prévot made history by winning the 2025 Tour de France Femmes. The Frenchwoman, an Olympic mountain bike gold medalist, also won the final stage of the race, finishing in Chatel Les Portes du Soleil after 124.1 km.

A spectacular stage with the leading group in the overall standings, except for Cedrine Kerbaol and Pauliena Rooijakkers, chasing the breakaway Anna Van der Breggen, who was then caught and dropped on the Col du Corbier. Meanwhile, on the descent of the Joux Plane, Sarah Gigante had lost contact, and thus the final podium.

In the final kilometers, Ferrand-Prévot attacked again and crossed the finish line alone, ahead of Demi Vollering and Kasia Niewiadoma. The first Italian in the standings was Barbara Malcotti, in thirteenth place.
