Jasper Philipsen (Alpecin Deceuninck) wins the second stage of the Baloise Belgium Tour, from Beringen to Putte, 194.4 km.

Even today the fraction, completely flat, was resolved with a sprint with compact ranks. Phlipsen , after the big scare of yesterday, responded like a champion and dominated the second sprint. Behind him was Molano , in good shape after the podium of yesterday and a surprising Berckmoes , who shows to have a fast start of the highest level.

Merlier only placed seventh and lost the leader's jersey to Molano who now leads the standings with a second on Philipsen and two on Merlier himself.
