On Sunday 1 December, Tadej Pogacar was spotted in Liguria , more precisely in the final stretch of the Spring Classicissima , in the company of Michael Matthews and former teammate Matteo Trentin .
For the world champion, the Milan-Sanremo will be the main objective in the first part of the season. The key point is the Poggio climb, a climb where, in the last editions, he has not managed to make the difference.
Pogacar's presence on the Ligurian roads since the beginning of December could be a sign of the Slovenian's search for new tactics and strategies to be able to distance himself from all his rivals before arriving in Via Roma.
