From 7 to 14 July, we arrive at the Blockhaus

The 2024 edition of the Giro d'Italia Women , the first organized by RCS Sport, was presented today at the Pirelli Skyscraper in Milan.

Eight stages scheduled, from 7 to 14 July , for a total of 856.6 kilometers and approximately 12 thousand meters of altitude difference.

Departure from Brescia with a 14.6 km time trial, the first uphill finish is scheduled for the third stage with the finish line in Toano (11 kilometers at 6% average gradient).

Interesting stages in central Italy with arrivals in Urbino, Foligno and Chieti. The queen stage will be the seventh of 123 kilometers starting from Lanciano and arriving on the Blockhaus and the double climb of the Lanciano Pass, in both cases from the Lettomanoppello side, the second time up to 1680 meters of the climb already known for the Giro d' Italy men (Jay Hindley's last victory in 2022).

Closing with the Pescara-L'Aquila of 109 km with the Acquasanta climb and a light final climb towards the Abruzzo capital.

Stage 1 (07/07): Brescia – Brescia (14.6 km, time trial)

Stage 2 (08/07): Sirmione – Volta Mantovana (102 km)

Stage 3 (09/07): Sabbioneta – Toano (111 km)

Stage 4 (10/07): Imola – Urbino (131 km)

Stage 5 (11/07): Frontone – Foligno (111 km)

Stage 6 (12/07): San Benedetto del Tronto – Chieti (155 km)

Stage 7 (13/07): Lanciano – Blockhaus (123 km)

Stage 8 (14/07): Pescara – L'Aquila (109 km)
