Jasper Phiilipsen wins the fourth stage of the Renewi Tour, from Oostburg to Aalter (178.5km).

The six-man breakaway, consisting of De Bod, De Bondt, Van Boven, Colman, Van Lerbeghe and Maas, was caught 8 km from the finish.

Even today, the stage is decided by a sprint: a fall splits the group right in the last kilometre, Van Der Poel, this time, pilots Philipsen to perfection who easily wins the sprint, ahead of Laporte and De Lie . Milan gets stuck in the last few hundred meters, fails to launch his action and finishes in eighth place.
