Stefan Kung 's cobblestone racing season is already over: the Tudor rider crashed during the Omloop Nieuwslblad 50 km from the finish and immediately retired.

The results of the tests were very bad for the Swiss, with a broken left femur and the need for surgery in the next few days.

The recovery time has not yet been determined, but Kung will certainly be out for several months and will therefore miss all the classics and could only return in late spring.
