Rodriguez and Mas beaten on the climb

Lidl Trek’s Mattias Skjelmose won the first edition of the Andorra MoraBanc Classica, a race held today over the distance of 114.7 km.

The Dane, who had not raced since Liège at the end of April, preceded Cristian Rodriguez of Arkea and Enric Mas of Movistar on the uphill finish of the Coll de la Botella.

Skjelmose will be at the start of the next Tour de France.
