The Norwegian beats Kung and Evenepoel, Ganna only seventh

Big surprise at the Cycling World Championships in Australia: Tobias Foss is the new time trial world champion.

The Norwegian rider won the title in the time trial held in Wollongong with the final time of 40'02 "at an average speed of 51.241 km / h.

Silver medal for Stefan Kung in 40'05 ", third place and bronze medal for Remco Evenepoel in 40'11".

Disappointment for Filippo Ganna : the reigning world champion arrived only seventh almost a minute late. Thirteenth Edoardo Affini and fifteenth Matteo Sobrero .
