Tirreno-Adriatico: Pippo Ganna wins the time trial in the first stage

Predictions were met; Tiberi also performed well in the overall standings.

Filippo Ganna won the individual time trial in the first stage of the Tirreno-Adriatico, starting and finishing in Lido di Camaiore.

The Italian champion in the specialty covered the 11.5 km of the course in 12'08" at an average speed of 56.2 km/h.

The first to post a significant time was Haterly , who was overtaken by Arensman , who took the lead before Ganna set off and destroyed his rivals. Van Aert and Van der Poel, however, didn't run at full speed and finished far from the top positions.

The Ineos rider beats his teammate Arensman and Walscheid .
In terms of the general classification, the best is Roglic, who takes 2" from Tiberi, 5" from Del Toro and 6" from Pellizzari.
