Tom Pidcock will miss this week's Canadian races , namely the Montreal and Quebec GPs, scheduled for Friday 13th and Sunday 15th September.

Ineos Grenadiers have announced that the British rider will take a precautionary period of rest after crashing on the final stage of the Tour of Britain and suffering a blow to the head.

The Olympic MTB champion suffered a concussion that will force him, for his safety, to follow the cycling protocol, which requires two weeks of rest from training, after strong blows to the head.

Pidcock would have undoubtedly been among the favourites for the two races in Canada; we wish the Briton a speedy recovery and to be able to return to racing as early as the end of September, perhaps at the World Championships in Zurich.
