Ulissi and Nys grow; Pedersen and Bilbao disappoint
The Tour of Poland ended with a victory for Jonas Vingegaard : the Dane lived up to the predictions of the day before, even though he didn't win any stage, but he proved to be the most solid rider in the time trials and always came among the first in the short uphill finishes; +2 for him.
The most surprising rider was Diego Ulissi (+4) with 600 fantasy points earned, thanks to the second place in the general classification, the victory of the points jersey and two second places in the stages. Thibau Nys also stood out, winning three stages; the Belgian talent deserves +3.
Kelderman and Gregoire were very solid, third and fourth overall respectively, both of whom were awarded +2.
To conclude the plus, Kooij (two stage victories), Sheffield and Zambanini get +1.
The most disappointing ones were undoubtedly Pedersen and Bilbao : the former fell at the end of the third stage and brought home only 53 points, while the Spaniard, among the favourites for a place on the final podium, finished 35th, more than 10 minutes behind Vingegaard.
Other riders who brought less bonus than expected are: Bagioli, Scaroni, Dainese, Bauhaus, Bardet, Pithie and Ewan. -1 malus for them.
