Ben Healy (EF Education) wins the sixth stage of the Tour de France, from Bayeux to Vire Normandie (201.5km).

After a frenetic start to the race, an interesting breakaway was formed consisting of Simon Yates, Van der Poel, Simmons, Healy, Storer, Barta, Tejada and Dunbar.

The yellow jersey group gave space to the attackers, with the leaders over 4 minutes ahead. With 41 km to go, capitalizing on a moment of uncertainty, Healy attacked on a flat stretch and took the lead alone.

On the Côte de Saint-Michel de-Montjoie, Simmons and Storer are trying to react to close the 1-minute deficit on the Irish leader.

Healy, however, continued to push with conviction and even increased his lead: the EF rider thus won alone . Simmons and Storer finished behind him. Van der Poel finished eighth and became the overall leader by just one second.

The big names don't push, but they recover a lot in the final stages, Pogacar arrives 1'29" from Van der Poel and gives up the jersey. Milan in green .
