Four days in the Tour de France and the wait rises to know who will wear the first yellow jersey of the Grande Boucle , but above all for who will be able to bring it to Paris .

The names of the favorite puers are known: the reigning champion Tadej Pogacar and Primoz Roglic , the two Slovenians who also in last year's edition faced each other in an exciting fight, with a final full of pathos.  

Behind them the Team Ineos , with perhaps the most complete team: Thomas , Carapaz , Porte , plus the winner of the Giro d'Italia 2020 , Tao Geoghegan Hart , complete a team of great quality.  

Movistar relies on Miguel Angel Lopez and Enric Mas , while EF will rely on the experience of Rigoberto Uran .

It will be interesting to understand what the victory ambitions of Julian Alaphilippe may be , who dreams of repeating the Tour in 2019 , but with a different ending. France relies on him or on the young climber David Gaudu , who however does not seem to have the characteristics to win on such a course.  

In the meantime, Sam Bennett , winner of the green jersey in 2020, failed to participate in the Deceuninck Quick Step home. The sprinter will be replaced by the expert Mark Cavendish , in addition to the blue Davide Ballerini . Speaking of Italy, not even Fabio Aru will start this Tour de France : the Sardinian has declared that his body is not ready and unfortunately we will not be able to cheer for him with the hope of seeing him again as an uphill protagonist like in the past.
