Van Vleuten vs Vollering, many Italians at the start

Eight stages, 956 kilometres, Massif Central of the Pyrenees, highest point the 2,110 meters of the Tourmalet. Departure on July 23rd from Clermont Ferrand and arrival in Pau on the 30th, with a new route that does not touch Paris.

These are the characteristics of the Tour de France Femmes avec Zwift, ready to start on Sunday with a top-level startlist.

Of course Annemiek Van Vleuten will be there: the world champion, who has already won the Vuelta and the Giro, is looking for the second consecutive trio but this time she will have to deal with the toughest opponent, Demi Vollering , protagonist in the spring classics, who promises battle. But that's not all: among the most awaited names there are also Elisa Longo Borghini (Lidl-Trek) and Katarzyna Niewiadoma (Canyon/Sram), in addition to the FDJ couple composed by Marta Cavalli and Cecilie Uttrup Ludwig .

SD Worx, in addition to Vollering, fields a very strong team with Lorena Wiebes for the sprints, Marler Reusser and Lotte Kopecky for the stage victories. Other girls to follow carefully are Juliette Labous of DSM, second in the Giro d'Italia, Liane Lippert of Movistar, the timeless Marianne Vos of Jumbo Visma together with her teammate Riejanne Markus, Mavi Garcia of Liv Racing, Ane Santesteban of Team Jayco AlUla, Elisa Balsamo of Lidl Trek, also for sprints, Veronica Ewers of Ef Education, Silvia Persico, Erica Magnaldi and Chiara Consonni of Uae Team, and Ashleigh Moolman of Ag Insurance Soudal Quick Step.
