The Tour de France will open on Saturday 4 July with three particularly interesting stages in Spain .
The opening team time trial in Barcelona will immediately make a difference in terms of the general classification: the 19 km planned, mostly flat, will end with a short 700-meter ramp at 9% where we will immediately see the big names in action.

The second stage includes the triple ascent of Montjuc in a section that we know well from the Volta Catalunya.
It will be a day that will favor explosive riders, so watch out for the general classification men again.

Finally, on Monday we return to France with the finish in Les Angles: it will be a rolling stage , with a longer climb 50 km from the finish and the last 1700 metres at 6.7%.
