Rain affects the times of the big names, Ayuso leader
Brandon McNulty won the third stage of the Tour de Romandie, a 15km individual time trial starting and finishing in Oron. The American runner from UAE Emirates finished with a time of 20'06 at an average speed of 46.244 km/h. On the podium of the day Magnus Sheffield at 12 seconds and Felix Großschartner at 14 seconds.
The rain affects the results of the last starters, i.e. the big names in the general classification. However, Juan Ayuso , fourth, Carlos Rodriguez, seventh, and Aleksandr Vlasov, eighth, did well. Ayuso himself is the new leader of the general classification on the eve of the mountain stage scheduled for tomorrow. The closing will be on Sunday with the last stop in Vernier.
